On June 8, 2014, VOICE brought together more than 1,000 people from our member institutions to hold the candidates for State Superintendent of Education accountable to our concerns around high stakes testing. This was the culmination of months of presentations educating and getting feedback from parents, teachers and community members across the state on the negative consequences high stakes testing is having on our teachers, students and families.

The candidates agreed with our agenda and pledged to work with us on finding solutions.
